Some friends recommended this pizzeria while we were visiting Brooklyn. Having been raised in Italy, I am normally very skeptical of so-called authentic Italian restaurants. I almost did not go. I am so happy I gave it a try. This was the real deal. Wonderful crust, easy to digest because they let the dough rise slowly (I asked!). Wood-fired brick oven. My pizza was with stracchino/crescenza cheese (a rare find in the US) and radicchio. Fantastic.
This is the way pizza is in Italy, very fresh ingredients. After being unable to visit Italy because of Covid, I felt I was in Italy while I was eating and chatting with the friendly owner. Grazie davvero!
