Near Old Fulton Street, within Brooklyn Bridge Park, is the 1 Hotel, and the Osprey is a restaurant on the first floor. A lovely space, it includes an outdoor patio nestled within the park. Absolutely a wonderful place to enjoy brunch on a nice weekend, as we did. We ordered bellinis, lemon ricotta pancakes and the Osprey breakfast (two cage-free eggs, garlic fingerling potatoes, roasted tomato, multigrain toast, and I chose chicken apple sausage as my side). Service was quick and friendly, and the food delicious. Best of all, you're outside within the confines of a great park in Brooklyn Heights! After brunch, stroll in the park an enjoy the great views of NY harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and the NYC skyline. A fun and tasty way to start your Sunday morning!

We were in NYC with our family for 7 days and were looking for a very good restaurant. We found The Osprey via Tripadvisor. Our expectations were clearly exceeded. The location is good, the food was excellent both in terms of fresh ingredients and preparation. We had a variety of dishes. Everything tasted very good. The service from Jake and his colleagues was great. Jake answered all questions very well before we ordered. We knew exactly where the beef came from afterwards. The service remained very attentive and courteous. Great. The price level was very reasonable. We even found it attractive compared to other restaurants. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed. We felt completely at ease. We had not heard of “1 Hotel” (which includes the restaurant) before, but would like to try it out next time we are in NYC, as it made a very comfortable impression.
The restaurant certainly deserves our recommendation.

Dinner was fantastic and all of the staff was amazing. Our server, Albano, gave great wine recommendations and was attentive, yet patient. A wonderful evening and we will absolutely be back.

We enjoyed our dinner. This is the second time in two weeks that we’ve had Jake as our server. Very patient and kind, offers great recommendations. Will definitely be back - hope to have him as our server again!
