Description: Located in the heart of the historic downtown City Market area, a.lure is an exciting new addition to the Savannah restaurant scene. Chef Greg Silver's contemporary American Cuisine with Low Country twists complements a.lure's rustic modern ambiance. Our local farm-to-fork philosophy is supplemented by thoughtful plating of regionally sourced ingredients, thoughtful presentation and creative flavor combinations. Savannah clams, oysters, local crab meat, and fresh Georgia shrimp are just a few of the local items on our menu, as well as premium steaks, regional and Niman Ranch pork products, scallops from Maine, and Wagyu beef. We transform these wonderful ingredients into exciting dishes ranging from Low Country influenced offerings to globally inspired fare. Superb service and a gem from our ever expanding wine list will complete an amazing dining experience. Our goal at a.lure is to anticipate all of your needs and to exceed all your expectations.

This was recommended to us by the bnb staff. Restaurant was clean and food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and the experience was great. Alure is close to City Market so it is a good location.

Service and food was excellent. We ate shrimp with grits and crab cakes. Lots of local fish on menu. If you are a fussy eater, they do not allow any substitutions to how the meal is prepared.

I found Alure on tripadvisor and booked the reservation using open table using my mobile phone. We almost missed our dinner because cab service in Savannah GA historic area is very spotty. The hostess called a few minutes after our appointment time to check to see if she could hold our table. I thought that was nice. When we finally arrived we were greeted by the manager and hostess. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu offerings and had experience in wine selection. He and other staff monitored and filled water and drinks, removed plates as used and asked about our opinion of all items served. List of over the top items: flaky scratch biscuits, whipped butter, corn meal chicken liver tender and mouthwatering, beautiful seafood pasta, braised pork shank fell off the bone and to top it off a chocolate pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream scoop. We felt cared for, relaxed and pampered. Hats off to the chef and staff of Alure.

If you like new and delicious food that is rooted in tradition give Alure a try.
Their bar chef has some tempting items: I loved his take on a Manhattan with chicory-pecan bitters.
The shrimp and grits redefine the dish. Everything was fresh. Service was warm, welcoming
and efficient. I won't miss it next time I'm in Savannah.

We had dinner at Alure last night and can recommend it for dinner when in Savannah. We tried the deviled eggs (good), the Nola shrimp (good), the salad with goat cheese and blueberry dressing (exceptional), scallops with peas and carrots (very good) and the swordfish (ok).

The service was fantastic and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
