Hall and stairways dirty. Access to car park dirty and poorly lit. They told me receipt sent by email it wasn't. Called and asked for copy. Receptionist was rude and sent to me to automated helpline! Major decline in Starwood service since Marriott acquisition. Will not be staying at this one again.

Front Desk check in was wonderful. After a long day at HUP and a snafu with my reservation, Davida the check in person was awesome. She was patient, efficient, and very friendly. I have never written a review before but Davida (I hope that's correct, it was Sat night, Nov 3rd) deserves a bonus. She made my day. Actually, everyone I've met there has been wonderful. Thank you, Sheraton Univ. City.

really like Dr. Ryan in Halloween night. When we are having dinner at Sankee, he come in with doctor costume and a pumpkin bowl with candy in his hands. He is absolutely kind and funny man. Like him a lot.

We were efficiently and warmly greeted by Kharlyta who gave us helpful dining suggestions. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. An unforeseen fire alarm sensor malfunction created a temporary inconvenience, but the successful efforts of the front office manager, Ryan Harouz, remedied the situation.

I would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel in the future

Room tip: Away from Chestnut Street if possible. With the Univ of Penn Hospital nearby, the ambulance sirens are unavoidable.

Location in University City area was terrific for our needs. It was clean. Staff was friendly.
The rest was downhill: AC/Heater in room rattled and clanked. It sounded like a power tool! We also heard the one in the next room. We shut our’s down!
They gave us a room with an accessible bathroom as that was the room with a king bed left. It seemed to be a work in progress. No soap holders in the shower but it looked like the holes with anchors were there. The back wall’s grab bar was coming out of the wall. The entire bathroom got wet the shower spray. We had to throw our towels on the floor for safety.
There’s an ATM in the lobby right next the front desk. We went to use it to get some cash as it was convenient. It took a long time to process. Women at front desk
It was probably due to the WiFi activity.
Well, it declined our bank card. She said it was probably “out of money.”
That night we see they charged us the amount we requested! We are still working with our bank on this!

Also, there is no HBO!
