Service is always friendly & helpful; the closest tasting to NY Pizza as you'll get in Florida; small bar with a TV...perfect for eating alone or with a buddy; nothing fancy, clean & adequate seating inside & outside

Thank Jeanne W

I have been here several times. I love it! My favorite is pizza and the antipasto salad! Dressing is great!!! Garlic knots are so so...a bit small. Chicken, French fries and sandwiches are all good.

A hidden gem ... tucked away but definitely worth the find! This is the 2nd time we have been and the food is delicious! Last night we were four and Maddy gave us the best service! One chicken parm with a huge side of spaghetti, one baked ziti, one order of lasagna and one pizza 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 white, 1 house salad and 1 ceaser salad .... all sooooo good! We just finished the left overs ... impossible to eat it all. Complimentary garlic knots very tasty! Can’t wait to go back ... rice ball next!

Thank Joyce H

Based on TA reviews we stopped in seeking decent pizza and an unpretentious setting - we weren't disappointed.

We split a large house salad (simple well portioned iceberg lettuce, black olives, cherry tomatoes and large croutons with a honey mustard dressing), a large 18" supreme pizza and a couple beers and wine. The salad was satisfying and the pizza was generously topped with a nice combination of meats and veggies, and nicely charred on the bottom with a tasty crust. We were given three garlic knots with marinara sauce for dipping - they were quite tasty and would order with a meal or larger group.

Squirreled away in a ubiquitous strip shopping center the interior is certainly unpretentious - decorated in expired license plates (presumably mostly northern and east coast transplants to the area), several TVs, simple well worn tables and booths, and outside sidewalk seating with a view of the parking lot and setting sun.

Will definitely return and if we can get past the pizzas hope to try one of their Italian dishes or daily specials off the sandwich board near the entrance.

Thank Tom B

We did some homework on Tripadvisor and other sites to get an idea of where to go in Bradenton for good food in a casual atmosphere. We took a shot at Danny's and were glad we did. Being a guy from the Northeast I'm always a little hesitant when it comes to exactly what a place is putting out and calling New York style. But, Danny's did a good job. The pizzas were cooked just right--crispy, thinner style crust with a very generous amount of toppings. The pizzas were not overly heavy with cheese, nor to sloppy with a lot of sauce. The pies were well-balanced and very tasty.

We heard a lot about their garlic knots and, yes, they were really great, so was the marinara sauce that accompanied them. We also had individual Greek dinner salads and the dressing and fresh veggies in the salad made it a must have for us.

The only negative was on this particular night Danny's could have used one more server in our room. They did a good job getting us seated once a table for 6 opened up, but it took a long time to get any water or drink orders in, even longer once we got that to place our good orders, and we had to flag down our server to to order dessert. I sensed she was jammed with tables/orders, but it maybe a manager could have seen the rush and found a way to help things go a little better.
