I went there for a 4 night stay, there was a problem with the charge on my card since it is from another country and instead of understanding and trying to help they brought security to the lobby while I was on the phone. This is a horrible way of fixing a misunderstanding, mainly by front desk Simeone. Usually you don't get treated as a criminal beforehand.
Obviously when everything got fixed I checked out and went to the Hilton Garden Inn Central Park which is a couple of blocks away and like 20 USD more expensive but with a much better service.
If you insist on staying here you need to pack your things and bring a whole lot of patience.More
