Huge busy hotel located right in Times Square, so the location can’t get any better. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a revolving restaurant which offers an amazing view. Our room had a great view too.

We had a great stay here, not perfect but great all the same.

Room was spacious, had two comfortable beds which was perfect for our mother/daughter trip. Location, location, location! What a perfect spot to stay, everthing was nearby. We walked to the theatres for two shows we went to, walked to Grand Central station and much more. Restaurants, too many to choose from in the area.

We did have an issue with housekeeping, but it was quickly resolved.

Room tip: not sure, we were on 25th floor and could still hear traffic sounds

Wonderful place to visit. So much to do. So much culture and rich history. Certainly plan a return trip. Want to visit Ellis Island, New Jersey and Harlem. Food was amazing. Plenty of shopping options. Would like to visit more place that I found interesting that I didn't get to visit previously. Everything is expensive in comparison to other big cities I have visited. The food cart food is amazing! Always will find vendor on the street.

This place is huge. The lobby area is buzzing with activity and lines to get to the concierge, to check in, and a wait at the enormous elevator banks. The downstairs Starbucks has a line. The workout room was busy. You don't come here to escape - this place is for conventions and activity, not get-aways. I loathe Marriott's new take on room service. Coffee in the room was difficult to stomach and what they brought me in a leaky cup wasn't much better.

Room tip: look over Times Square - $$

I stayed here for a long weekend with my bestie, so we could see a show and do some sightseeing. It was very good location for that - walking distance to all the Broadway theaters and close to Rockefeller Center and shops. The rooms were comfortable. Elevator situation can get a little crowded and time consuming, but with 44+ floors, that is to be expected. While we visited, they were working on floors 42 on up, which was a little annoying at times. But we understand.
Nice lounges and restaurants, but super pricey, which is to be expected in this area. We found a GREAT place across the street for breakfast - Bond 45. Highly recommend.
Nice perk of the hotel, with your fees come 1 free ticket to a local attraction, and $35 each day that you can spend at the hotel restaurants.
If you are a Marriott rewards member, you'll get free wifi here too.
Beds were comfortable.
Being right on Times Square, there is some ambient noise, but that is to be expected. The drapes are true blackout drapes, which is necessary since the flashing lights of the city never stop (again, totally expected, that's what we are here for!)
We didn't have a car, so no comments on parking.
Checking in was a nice experience. Checking out, eh, the person handling that was not too friendly and never even asked how our stay was. Concierge and luggage service was outstanding, and this hotel has two offices that help you get show tickets and local attraction tickets, which was nice. Although I'm not sure we got a good value for the multi-pass sightseeing tour we purchased. Have to do a little more homework on that.
I've seen other reviews that say there is no room service, and that is incorrect. There is room service, it's just a little different than what other hotels offer. They do the "fresh bites" thing, where you get your meal delivered in a fancy little shopping bag instead of on a tray or cart. I didn't mind at all. Food was still good and service times were fine.

Room tip: High floor, times square view are best if you want the NY experience
