We had a perfect stay at Mint House. The location is great - it’s a short walk to The World Trade Center, Wall Street and Battery Park. The historic art deco building is gorgeous and the room was wonderful. There were restaurants, cafes, and a market in the building. If you want to visit the rooftop bar or one of two on site Michelin star restaurants be sure to reserve in advance. This was a great value for a Manhattan stay and we would definitely stay here again!

***MAJOR WARNING***
We stayed here and the maintenance manager barged into our room after a single quick knock while scanning his badge. When told to get out he was aggressive and wanted to fight. Ops manager denied this interaction happened. Called me a liar and suggested none of this happened and that even if it had, it wasn't a big deal... pick one. Ops manager was also very rude and we exchanged words. Not a hint of an apology, just cursing and gaslighting.
Stay away.

Check out the surprisingly spacious hotel rooms —bigger than most NYC apartments. The kitchen is perfect for stocking up if you're in town for a while. Located smack dab in the Wall Street area, The Mint is a quick stroll to all the essentials for business travelers.

Best sleep I have had since I started planning my daughter's wedding. which was taking place upstairs at Saga The comfortable apartment arrangement allowed for entertaining friends over a simple dinner. There is lots to pick from in the area and even in the building itself, including Crown Shy, the fabulous bar and restaurant . I really appreciated a desk on the apartment level for working. In short all the comforts one hopes for on a work or leisure trip. And close to trains uptown or to Brooklyn.
Arrived about 2am
The chap at reception wad not that welcoming. He took the damage deposit, but instead of taking €200 he took€2000.
He said that it would get refunded - yes it did but took over 10 days, a bit worrying.
Then gave us our key. I had booked a Deluxe Studio - what we got was not a Deluxe studio. This was know 3am. Off to reception, and an argument as he said this is what I had booked. No, this is not what I had booked and paid for as I knew by research that this is not what I had paid for. I showed him my receipt and in black and white it said Deluxe Studio. The receptionist admitted he made a mistake. Not a happy customer.
Next day I went to the reception to enquire about what direction the supermarket. The female receptionist was sarky and there was no greeting as I interrupted her on her mobile. Not very pleasant. The second time I went to reception this person was on, again no greeting and very unhelpful as her attitude was terrible.
Yes I would stay here again as the eventual room was lovely but please put your staff on a customer care course.
