This hotel is a hidden gem, especially if you want to stay in the financial district. It is within a short walk to the Wall Street subway station as well as Fulton Street so you can get virtually anywhere the subway goes.

The rooms were large for a New York City hotel, meaning you can walk around the beds and adequately use the desk which is rare in most hotels in NYC. The staff is uniformly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The AC worked great, which was much appreciated on 90F /90% humidity days in the summer. The room was quite for New York City.

I called in advance because my daughter and her friends are coming to New York from California to celebrate her 21st birthday. The manager, Ralph, was very accommodating with my request and he was able to book the rooms altogether.
Kevin at the front desk was also very friendly upon my daughter's check in.
Rooms are very clean.

In addition to the friendly atmosphere, my daughter received a personalized birthday letter with a bottle of wine. Thank YOU to the whole team for making this happen!!

I called the Hotel on the day of a reservation in order to cancel the first night because my plane had technical issues. I called on time per Platinum Elite rules. Although the hotel stated on the phone that the 1st night had been cancelled, then did not do it and kept my Marriott points. It's obvious that this is a local hotel policy, not Marriott's. I would avoid this hotel for this reason. The cancellation call can be seen on my phone records, yet Marriott and the hotel state that since since they did not send the cancellation notice, they will not reimburse the points to my account. Very disappointing after so many years as a loyal Marriott customer.
