Fabulous Jewish restuarant for fish, bagels, etc. We came for brunch, at around 11am, and there was a small queue, but not too long a wait to be seated. We had a booth and ordered a combination dish 'Anna' which had smoked Nova Scotia salmon, kippers, plus 3 other smoked fish, a full basket of bread and bagels which could be topped up any time, and it came with pickles, pickled tomatoes, sliced red onion and sliced tomatoes, cream cheese, butter, and chived cream cheese, plus roe egg CAVIAR; total cost around $70 I think. This easily fed 4 or us, and we ordered extra chopped egg and beetroot salad for the high veggie eaters, plus the most wonderful White Fish Soup; this was a chowder style with fresh vegetables and white chunks of fish. We had endless coffee and will definitely be back again. To finish off, we walked a few hundred yards to their SHOP and bought bakery treats and chocolate. No booking, just turn up; they have a bar area, so good for travelling on your own, or for families. Most popular dishes were smoked fish and bagels by the look of it, and try the really great halva ice cream.
