Lived in NYC for 15 years. Now travel there frequently. The Knickerbocker is an excellent hotel for several reasons: 1). In the heart of the city so easy to get around; 2). Great room size, especially for NYC and 3). Wonderful decor — Hip & sleek.

Beautiful hotel and amazing location! Luz and Adriana were incredibly kind and helpful. Rooftop bar was very nice and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing. Perfect stay.

Room tip: Loved the view!

In a high energy area of New York, the Knickerbocker is an oasis of calm and serenity. Our king room was beautiful, sleek and modern. The bed comfortable. The bathroom had doors of teal sea glass to the toilet and shower. And there was ample storage space. The staff was helpful and understated and made my birthday feel like a celebration. It will be hard to stay anywhere else. We look forward to a return trip to the Knick.

We stayed here recently on a trip to NY and really enjoyed it. We are always on the lookout for a good hotel near the Theater District and I think we hit the jackpot with the Knickerbocker. The location is wonderful in the heart of Times Square and Broadway and perfect for going to see a show. It's also a quick and easy walk (e.g., 13 minutes) to Penn Station if the cab line is too long or you're coming from an event at MSG.The hustle and bustle of Times Square ends when you enter the hotel: it's very quiet and tranquil with no awareness of the chaos and noise outside. The rooms are minimalist and modern, but still warm and nicely appointed with blackout shades and quality toiletries. The bed was SUPER comfy and so were the pillows (very full and firm). We slept great both nights we were there. We stayed in a deluxe king room which included a comfy sofa, large TV and huge bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a Charlie Palmer's in the hotel and we grabbed a quick bite there before the show one evening. The food was tasty and the bar was pretty crowded. We stopped back by the bar later that evening after the show and it was pretty dead, but still great customer service. Everyone we encountered throughout the hotel was really friendly and checked in with us multiple times about how the hotel was and if we were enjoying ourselves. I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday and room service delivered a piece of birthday cake. It was a nice touch and very thoughtful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
