I absolutely loved the Conrad. The minute I walked in they made me feel special. Ana and Luz at check in made me feel welcomed and I was able to get my room early. Johnny the door man was super friendly and helpful in getting cabs. The room was beautiful on the 52nd floor with a breathtaking view. The bathroom was huge you could fit a bed in it, had a stand up shower and bathtub. It also had great amenities like coffee and tea and many others. Everything is clean if I could give 10 stars I would! Looking forward to returning in August for another magnificent stay.

This is my new favorite hotel in NYC! The room was large and had a beautiful view all the way to the Hudson River! Everyone was so helpful and happy to be open that they went above and beyond my expectations!

I booked the Conrad Midtown for Memorial Day weekend through Hilton. I was planning to stay there with my wife and two children. I called the hotel the day before we were supposed to arrive, to inform them of our late arrival time. I got a recording saying that the hotel had temporarily suspended operations and was not open. I check the Hilton website and saw that my reservation had been cancelled. I RECEIVED NO EMAIL, NO PHONE CALL, and NO TEXT -- from either the hotel or Hilton -- informing me that the reservation had been cancelled. If I had not called, I would have shown up at the hotel at midnight with my family, only to find it closed and my reservation canceled! This is horrible behavior by the Conrad Hotel, and pathetic customer service by Hilton! Stay away!!

I want to use this opportunity to personally apologize for the shortcomings you have experienced and assure you that those are not reflective of our usual high standards of service.

Although it is not an excuse unfortunately the Hotel is still suffering from the impact of the global pandemic and with our doors currently closed we have not managed to handle the communication of the delay of the reopening and the cancellation of your reservation in the appropriate manner.

Meanwhile we have reached out to you privately to see how we could assist in the future as nothing would make us happier than welcoming you and the rest of our valued guests back to the hotel as soon as possible.

This is a beautiful hotel, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with a bottle of wine and fruit tray waiting for us. The location was perfect and the onsite restaurant was great for brunch. Cynthia checked us and was an angel throughout our stay.. this woman is an asset to your team and should be commended for going above and beyond. We will never forget your kindness. God bless you...

Definitely some of the largest basic rooms in NYC. Nicely remodeled - very upscale. The room faced north and was very quiet. If I had to say anything negative about the hotel was the staff efficient but not very friendly. Everyone from the valet, doorman and front desk staff did there job just fine, but did not give off a good vibe. The staff at the Conrad Downtown seemed more happy to be at work when I stayed there.
