As expected, a great production on broadway. Genie stole the show (as he should...!) very genuine to the origins film meaning the songs and story was familiar and easy to follow for anyone who has seen the origins film.

We were able to visit the New Amsterdam Theater for the first time and saw Aladdin. This beautiful theater is where my great aunt performed in the 1920's as a Ziegfeld Folly girl, so I was very excited to experience this! We had seats to the very far left in the theater which were a little tough, but the theater itself was very nice. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Very ornate, historical feeling, and beautiful. Aladdin was a great show (the Magic Carpet ride was incredibly done!). The theater was lovely and did not disappoint. I would highly recommend seeing a Broadway play here.

The "New Amsterdam Theater" Architecture is amazing, once inside you are transformed back in time to the early 1900's, with the look and ambiance. The theater is very clean, and the lobby area is nicely lit and clean as well. The seats are a bit small, and old style wooden, however that also adds to the ambiance. The sound quality is very good, and the actors and performance were amazing. There is only one door in and out, so once the performance is over, expect to spend a bit of time getting out, but overall something to experience !!!

We saw Aladdin which was a great experience. Easy to get in, easy to get to a washroom and drink. Only complaints were the seats which were a bit tough but the performance was great so I almost didn't notice. They are tiered a bit once you get out of the first 5 rows or so, so there is no issues with visibility either.

Good experience and great show.

Beautiful theater! The snacks were limited and the prices sky high. We would perfekt freshly made popcorn and friendlier prices. The musical was great!
