The only complaint I have is the biscuits. They're very dull. The lobster chilli is soooo good. The service is 5 star.

We where recommended American Cut by our hotel, and we where not disappointed. We cane around 8PM - a bit concerned about the level of noice in the restaurant, since a couple of the tables had typical loud business dinners. Fortunately, they left around 9pm. A wide selection of starters is offered, and the meat is really among the best I have ever tasted. The wine list is huge and offers everything form affordable Cianti to classic famous Bordeaux chateau´s.
If I have the chance to come back - I will!

We visited American Cut on 3/10/18 for an early dinner before seeing a show uptown. I was particularly impressed with the variety and creativity of the dishes. Typically steakhouses are pretty predictable, but this experience was different (and better!).

Right from the start we were served with a biscuit / everything bagel hybrid that was incredible. I could go into detail on every appetizer, entree, and side dish, but let me sum it up by saying that they were all incredible and each dish had something about it that made it unique and special without being too “alternative”.

An incredible dining experience is more that just the food, however. Our server, Jared, was an excellent guide for our journey. His advice was honest and spot on. I felt like he was looking out for us, which is something I had never experienced before. I also really enjoyed his stories and anecdotes. He turned a great meal into an amazing experience!

We could have made those incredible rolls a meal and left happy. The whole experience was outstanding. Our waiter and the manager were incredibly helpful and always had smiles. We shared the Octopus which was extremely tender and the bone marrow. We had two delicious entrees one being the 12oz filet mignon with seared foie gras and the cedar plank salmon. Cauliflower with capers and raisins rounded out the meal. Perfectly cooked beef and moist salmon. Next time we'll share the crackerjack sundae but we were so full we opted for something "lighter" the apple quince cobbler. Our first time here and definitely will not be the last.

Four couples went for Restaurant week. Seven of us ordered off the Restaurant week menu. One for dietary reasons ordered from the regular menu. Of all the varied apps only the Pork Belly is worth mentioning, it was quite good. The Ceasar Salad and Bisque were only fair. The Tuna off the regular menu was deemed very good. The Filet Mignon was tiny and not seasoned. For desert the Bread Pudding was really Just Molten Chocolate cake. The Cracker Jack Sundae was very good.
All dishes were served warm, nothing was hot except for the Bread, and that was the best part of the dinner.
From the time we sat down, till we left, we felt rushed. One of our group actually had her plate taken away as she had her fork in her mouth. Even after asking servers to slow down they still rushed us. While we were there only one third of the tables were filled.
