A really interesting type of museum to visit. Not like your typical museums, lol. But we did enjoy it and Araki display was very eccentric. Pretty different considering how long ago it was that he did these photos. Was not that interesting seeing how animals have sex, was strange. I can at least say I went to see.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this was a massive waste of time. I mean, there were a couple of kind of decent things but personally, I would spend my money elsewhere if I were you.

I came in with the expectation that it was going to be erotic, risqué, a little dirty or scandalous, much like a cabaret or underground sex club, but it was none of those things. I thought maybe a history of sex over the years, or innovation within sex toys or something like that would be featured but those things were very few. It was mostly art exhibits from people you've never heard of doing things that aren't all that interesting (I have my Bachelors in Fine Arts and have seen my share of disappointing exhibits) and the overall experience was a huge let-down especially for the price.

Things I disliked:
- It was over $20 to get in and I could have gone through the whole museum in under an hour
- The layout of the museum was REALLY confusing and quite poorly designed
- I'll go to MoMA, the MET, or Guggenheim if I want art. There was too much boring art here.
- You start at the gift shop which was a little strange and the gift shop was pretty crowded
- The exhibits were very poor. One entire floor was dedicated to animal sex lives. I really couldn't care less. Another was a photographer whose stuff got really old after a while.

Things I liked:
- There are big inflatable boobs you can bounce on like a bouncy house
- There was a little video room that only fit a couple of people (I mean literally two) and I think it was intended to stimulate strangers. Not kidding. It seemed way too intentional especially with the videos that were playing.
- The gift shop had some cool stuff.
- There is a bar inside.

I would move on to the next thing if I were you. This was such a cool idea but was just so poorly executed. Maybe all of the bad Trip Advisor reviews will help the curators and owners enhance the experience for the future.

The museum has nothing I can’t get off the Internet. It was a complete waste of money and I don’t even know but I would pay $10 to go. Don’t do it, don’t waste your time.

Choose to visit here as close to flat iron building and for a bit of fun. The entrance is though the shop which had a wide range of adult toys. The first floor was fully of fun facts and objects, another floor was about how animals have sex. Others floors had art which was not what I expected. Glad I used my New York pass and not paid the entrance fee as it seemed high for what you got.

Worst customer service we had in our trip to New York, without exception. ‘Museum’ was boring and overpriced. The only positive was the temporary exhibition about the disco scene. Save your $20 and your time and do something else!
