My husband and I were staying overnight in NYC and as usual did not plan on where to eat dinner. We searched for places to eat within walking distance of our hotel on East 32nd St and stumbled upon Baby Bo's.

What a great find! We were early, so it was not crowded and we had our pick of tables. The atmosphere was really cool. We felt like we could have been in Mexico.

Food was delicious and the margarita choices were so varied, I had trouble choosing! I settled on the coconut, since I love all things sweet, and was not disappointed!! Maybe I will try the Mango next time.

To top it all off, the bill was very reasonable. Food only came to 29.00! We paid extra for top shelf tequila and had 4 drinks total. Dinner under 100. with 4 drinks, not too bad for NYC!

We will definitely be back!!

We went based on TripAdvisor reviews and it was well worth it. I had El Dorado burrito and my husband had chipotle enchiladas. Both were really good and the waitress was lovely.

Baby Bo's cantina was a haven of friendliness after trying to find a decent place for ages.
The Mexican decoration is really well done. Extensive choice of Tequilas. Make sure you try the Mexican craft beers as well. We only came for drinks but we got delicious complimentary chips and salsa. Although we did not have any meals what we saw on the tables looked exquisite.
The owner, Tommy, is super friendly. Chat him up!
We came in as customers, and we left as friends.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of NYC. They have the best chipotle sauce in the world!! Try the spinach enchiladas and the mini spinach burritos. Amazing!!

I searched for a Mexican Restaurant near the Roosevelt hotel. This was recommended by Google and was only an 18 minute walk from the hotel. I was surprised how small the place is but the interior decor was cool and immediately inviting. The service was welcoming and swift. I was there on a Saturday night around 8:00pm. A cup of ice water along with chips and a pico de gallo salsa quickly came to the table. I was in the mood for something refreshing so I ordered the red Sangria. The Carnitas Al Pastor taco platter that comes with 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans was very tasty. I asked for a hotter salsa and was brought a green hot sauce that blew me away in a good way. It made my nose cry but I was loving the spicy heat. I can't wait to come again soon.
