Lovely atmosphere, great food in good portion sizes but pricey and beware they charge you for the bottle of tap waer they immediately offer as you sit at the table!

Just walked in on a Sunday around 6 and was seated immediately. We ordered a burger $25, mussels $18 and spiced cashew sweet potato side dish $12. The prices were high but we thought the portion for the mussels was a lot - easily can be a meal for two people or shared as appetizer for 3-4. The burger was very expensive especially since you get few chips and not fries with the entree. The highlight was the side of sweet potato which were cubed and topped with crispy kale and served w honey nori aioli. Unique taste and we really enjoyed it.

We didn't care for where we sat - right next to the station where waiters would refill water bottles and grab extra napkins and utensils. Service was a bit slow and the waiter seemed to have disappeared to another table, and the waitress who replaced him was better and friendlier.

We had a party of 5, including a baby. Table was ready early, service was very timely. Needed to ask for more coffee. Would definitely eat here again.

We stumbled upon this place on Paddy’s Day as we were trying to get away from all the craziness and find a good breakfast. It has great ambience and a confident and competent wait staff. The food was excellent. We quickly unwound and really enjoyed the place.

It was nearly 10 om after a very long day and we "picked" the Brass because we were hungry and it was where the Lyft vehicle dropped us off (near our hotel, but closer to walk than master the one-way traffic.) Knew nothing about it, and, to be frank, its odd shape and large bar made a negative first impression.

The server immediately filled our water glasses, described the specials and made some recommendations (NOT the highest priced items, either).

The truffle fries were a taste sensation and the portion was huge. Recommend them enthusiastically. The steak, to which they were frites, was also tasty, and the eggplant parmesan, recommended by the server, was delicious, a crispy combination of flavors and textures. The prices are standard for the location, i.e. on the high side -- But don't let the austere entrance, bar crowd and dim lighting put you off. It's a serious restaurant.
