Good Property to stay in downtown.

Its a decent hotel with limited amenities. Good property for a short business or leisure stay. It also has a restaurant on the ground level. Good food and decent ambience. Would surely recommend for all kinds of travelers.

Convenient to ferry

***Disclaimer- Traveling during COVID and therefore lots of reduced amenities***

We stayed here overnight since we wanted to do a short day trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Great spot to stay at if you want to do this and you don't need the extra frills.

Rooms were very clean and our stay was comfortable but as Diamond members, we sorely missed the extra things that come with this status though. Instead of breakfast in their restaurant, we were given frozen food (i.e., frozen breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, juices) to put in a paper bag to take with us. All in all, it's a great deal but again, you will be missing the added touches that you've been accustomed to.

While we understand the need to ensure all our members rceive their benefits the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly reduced the options once available to us all. We have put together an assorment of items in lue of the hot breakfast buffet our restaurant was once able to provide. We hope to return our Honors members to their normalility of benefits in the near future while providing our newly upgraded cleanstay policies keeping everyone safe!

Good visit, but eventful

The hotel was really nice. Rooms well kept and facilities good.

However, there isn’t enough elevators. My partner was waiting over 15 minutes for an elevator at one point. Not the hotels fault I guess, just bad building planning by whomever constructed it.

There also seemed to be a squatter in the hotel who decided to protest outside of the hotel!

Hairs and crumbs on bed sheets

Ok this is an unprecedented times and everybody is going their part however this hotel is not. I was getting ready to go to bed and I found hairs and crumbs in between the sheets. How come they say they are going the extra mile to have everything clean and sanitized before guest’s arrival. How come I am going to feel safe at this hotel now? Did they really clean and sanitized the room?

I would like to first apologize for your experience with our property. Our housekeeping staff should complete a thorough cleaning along with inspection of guest rooms prior to a guest entering the room. Unfortunately this did not occur and it should not have happened. As these changing times bring new challenges, we are trying to adapt and overcome them ever so quickly. Your comments are appreciated as they will assist us in improving our guest experiences and will work closely to ensure these instances never occur again.

Miserable policies during a time where we all need a little humanity

1)Early checkin (an hr) costs 30 dollars. 2)Checkout is at 11, 11:20 you will be charged another nights stay
3)a microwaveable dinner when nothing else is open is 10 dollars
4)they still charge the resort fee despite having poor internet, zero amenities, and everything is shut down.
5) there is zero staff to help with anything
6) feel like they are trying to take us for everything we've got when the whole deal is that we are here because we can't afford anything else at a time when people are close to being on the street...

I will not be using hilton anymore. Im disgusted.

I would like to first thank you for choosing to stay with our property during your recent visit to NYC. I want to apologize on behalf of the property for your experience being sub optimal which is not a norm. As we are all adjusting to the new health and economic changes that have happened within the last few months and would like all to know that we take our guests and staffs health and safety as a first priority.
The Covid-19 pandemic has slowed the processes and availability of the once know city that never sleeps. This has limited our abilities on the services we can provide to our guests and tourism, food and event options we would normally recommend. The property being an essential establishment, is working with limited services and staffing to ensure that guests whom need a temporary location to safely rest and relax are able to. We've placed multiple contactless policies in place along with increased sanitization of public spaces to ensure a safe experience for everyone.
If you'd like to contact the property directly so we can assist with your billing it would be our pleasure as there is no resort fee for staying with our property. There are unfortunately taxes which are applied to the booked rates but those are implemented by the State and City of New York.

We do hope you give the Hilton chain of hotels a second chance to instill your loyalty to our property and all brands as we are all working and adapting to provide our guests with wonderful and exceptional customer experiences within a safe environment.
