Wonderful staff and location

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 weeks ago
The Club Quarters Hotel at the World Trade Center, I would recommend to anyone as we had a wonderful experiences as a company working with them to host our guests stay for an event. The planning and coordination went seamlessly with their wonderful group sales manager, Liana. The feedback from our guest was nothing but fabulous as they were well taken care of. The accommodations were roomy and modern, this Hotel comes highly recommended.

The staff is excellent and helpful. Runita and Marsha are exceptional. The location is fantastic, the room is clean, spacious and the view is phenomenal. Coffee, tea and water 24/7. We extended our stay at the hotel, Incredible experience!

Clean and neat hotel close to the financiall district. Only issue was with the manager Marsha whom denied my room mate access to our room after advicimg her about his arrival before me. She stated I did not let know of his coming which was incorrect. And despite speaking on the phone with her I would need to email her. Email she sent me was incorrect and would not accept my phone call so he waited 3 hours until I arrived. Other than that the hotel was a 5 star. Not sure why policy would not be sufficient to advise who is coming to stay and let them make access to the room.

The price for this location definitely deserves 5 stars. It’s a typical business hotel, but I wouldn’t really consider it 4 stars since it’s old and a lot of things are broken. I’d compare it to a Holiday Inn or DoubleTree (around 3-3.5 stars).

Space: Compared to other hotels in Manhattan, QC is BIG. We had plenty of space for my son to play with his toys on the floor, and the king-size bed was perfect for sleeping—nothing can beat that.

Location: It’s right behind Ground Zero, making it easy to get to the subway.

Check-in: Super easy. When you arrive, you just use a kiosk to get your key card, and your room is randomly assigned. It’s fair—you don’t need to worry about they arrange u to the room closed to the elevator or at the end because you have kid with you. The staff is professional and friendly.

BUT…
The TV doesn’t work with phone connections, so you can’t stream your apps. They know about this issue but likely won’t fix it since the hotel is pretty old.

The bed sheets, carpet, AC, and WiFi are all dated, and I found some other people’s hair in the bathroom, sink, and on the bed. I guess that’s part of their eco-friendly approach.

Room tip: dont expect too much , and the TV is old as the bed sheets

Great hotel and a very convenient location. My son and I visited New York for just two days and wanted a nice hotel near the 911 Memorial and other tourist area. This hotel was just perfect for what we needed. Very close to the subway and the PATH train to the Newark airport.

Good location in lower Manhattan but hotel overpriced for facilities offered. Rooms small, dark and noisy, looking worn and tired. Over $5300 for 9 nights, complete rip off due to UN summit price gouging. Staff nice enough when approached but not sure of purpose given everything self service.
