The hotel is located at a very convenient place in a two minutes walk to the subway and right across the street is the one world trade center. The room is clean and quiet. Marsha and Spencer are super warm hearted and helpul! I had a really pleasant time staying with them.
From the moment we arrived in NYC we have been treated with politeness & kindness, no more apparent than by Marsha-Ann the Guest Experience Manager at The World Center Hotel. Having arrived early in the morning and too early to check in, she handled everything beautifully by taking our luggage off our hands and pointing us to complimentary teas/coffee and the sights from the 20th floor. Following this, she provided us with maps and advice on getting around NYC. A lovely lady and we were very grateful for her input.
I should also point out that we have loved New York and the New Yorkers. A lovely city and residents and to the wonderful woman who helped us work out the subway system and as our payment card wouldn’t work for some reason, actually bought a travel card for us and refused the cash for it. Happy Holidays everyone & do something nice for someone else, it is truly a lovely thing to do!!!
Great location and the staff is definitely the highlight of this hotel! Special thanks to front desk members Emely and Marsha Ann as well as Brian at the rooftop bar - you all made our stay very comfortable and we appreciated your service and energy throughout the weekend.
Room wise, the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable so be mindful if you have back problems.
We had to wait 30 minutes after the check in (15:00) to get the room. The answer from team club quarters that the check in at 15:00 isn’t guaranteed. In their website and their policy indicates 15:00 check in, it doesn’t indicate that hours may vary. Front desk didn’t even apologize for the delay. The room had dirty soap in the bathroom, socks from old guests under the bed. I was traveling with my toddler and we stayed in the 6 floor and the lock for window door wasn’t working at all. So I had to put the chair in front door of it so I can take a shower without worry. Marlene (I believe was her name) in the front desk isn’t welcoming and her body language is even disrespectful. I wouldn’t stay here again. Good location but there are more better hotels around.
Small but clean and quiet room with a great view. Check-in process was easy. Housekeeping is optional. The only annoying thing was the low water pressure in the shower. I would stay here again.
