Clearly, a lot of money has been invested in this chain, but some of the fundamentals are not in place:
1. If you are going to charge a minimum of $5 for a latte (plus a 'mandatory' 20% tip because you refuse to take cash) - and then also refuse to serve it with organic whole milk, but instead only offer almond, cashew or soy - you had better make sure it tastes great. This coffee managed to be both insipid and bitter at the same time - suggesting the beans had been over-roasted and then poorly extracted by the barista.
2. The food is on trend, but vastly over priced. It's the vegan version of click-bait - looks tempting, but ends up being very disappointing.
3. Customer service should also be superior to the competitors, rather than supercilious.
Would not return and would not recommend.
