place was definitely cool. I was not able to make a reservation as they there was just 2 of us and they only accept reservations for 4 or more. needless to say we waited an hour but they text us when our table was ready. Unfortunately, we ate close to the bar instead of the sunken dining room which is where you have to sit to get the great vibes. Food was very good but portions were very small. I ordered the shrimp dish which was $30 with about 5 shrimp and thats it. Still glad I went though

My husband and I had a fun meal here last week. First of all the restaurant is beautiful: sunken dining room filled with round tables, tall iron pillars and cool banquettes and lighting that makes everyone glow. And the food is delicious: best dishes: shrimp and mushroom shumai, roasted duck salad, steamed bass, fried brussels sprouts, and squid ink noodles. It's not particularly authentic but who cares when it tastes so good. The cocktails looked great, but it was a work night so we stuck with wine. Definitely worth a visit to Chinatown. Note it is a little pricey.

We were surprised at the look of this place. Walk into a bar and ascend down the stairway to a cavernous two story dining room! Very impressive for Chinatown! The food is elevated Chinese and we shared many plates. The standouts were the tuna tartare, crispy eggplant, dumplings and the vegetarian fried rice. Quite a bit pricier than the traditional Chinese in this area, but worth it.
