When my girlfriend and I visit OBX, we frequently venture over to Manteo to grab a sandwich at Poor Richard's. The crew is very friendly, the service is fast, and the food is fantastic!! No matter what we get, we're thrilled with our selections! Yummy food, good prices, and a great staff - that's the trifecta!

Stopped for lunch and shared a “Heart Attack” wrap with baked beans and potato chips—yum! It was a perfect serving for 2. They offer beer on tap and fountain drinks. We sat outside on the picnic tables next to the building and watched boat traffic in the harbor and birds doing acrobatics above.

On vacation we ate here twice in one week. This time we got take out to go watch the sun set. The food was not as good as when we dined in. For some reason all of our sandwiches were on wraps.

Good service, good food, good prices. Even though it was cold we sat outside on their patio to avoid COVID germs. They bought our food out to us and it was a nice spot to sit at with a lovely view of the water.
