The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was a real blessing - really fresh food that was replenished often. Having a refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher in the room provided real options for us.

On behalf of the entire staff at the Residence Inn Del Mar, thank you for staying with us. We are lucky to have such an amazing staff that takes pride in making you feel right at home! The staff was so happy to hear that you enjoyed the full hot breakfast buffet in the morning that contains several healthy options including egg whites, veggie crumble and so much more!

All of our spacious rooms have fully equipped kitchens, perfect for the cook inside or all of us or a late night snack without having to leave your suite!

I traveled with a robotics team, 15 people, tight budget. Our 2-room suites were perfect for accommodating several students and a chaperone, and we had no problem with extra sheets and towels; the staff even neatly made up the sofa cushions that some kids were sleeping on. The breakfast bar is diverse - scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, cheeses, meats, rice, tortillas, cereals, bagels, fruit, waffles - MUCH better than the usual coffee-and-rolls. Desk staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful.

I usually have trouble sleeping when traveling, not here.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your experience at the Residence Inn Del Mar! We are delighted to hear that the staff was able to do such an amazing job taking care of you and your team during your stay!

Our spacious two bedroom suites are a great option for large groups as well as families. They are equipped with a full kitchen and two full bathrooms to make you feel right at home.

Our hot breakfast buffet is a perfect place to arise in the morning with a cup of coffee and your choice of several hot and cold options that you described perfectly. I couldn't have done better myself!

On behalf of the entire Residence Inn team, thank you for staying with us. We hope to see you again soon whenever your team or even your families come to visit the San Diego area.

Check in was good, was given top floor as requested. Internet was great! Breakfast was good. Beware that parking is an additional $12.00 per day...
Housekeeping was not what I would expect as all the dishes and glasses were water spotted and the overall cleanliness was obviously done quickly without any attention to detail. Mold in the corners of the shower, etc.
Hotel need a renovation as the furniture and carpets in the room were very worn. Not a good value for the $$..

We are pleased to hear that you found our high speed internet top notch and that you were able to enjoy our complimentary hot breakfast buffet in the morning. We recently changed our breakfast program to include healthy options such as egg whites and Greek yogurt in addition to fresh cut strawberries and grapes.

While you enjoyed several of our amenities while at the hotel, we regrettably missed a few items in your room that should have been addressed well before your arrival. I truly apologize for the cleanliness issues that you encountered while staying at our hotel. I will make sure to share your feedback with our engineering and housekeeping teams to avoid future issues, as this is not the experience that we expect for our guests. I want to thank the staff at Residence Inn for providing the best service ever. I've been here for the past few months for work, and they have treated me like family. Fergie and the breakfast staff always greet me with warmth in the mornings. Kathleen is my happy hour queen. Santiago at the front desk is one of my favorite faces to see. Evan, you and your staff go above and beyond to make us feel at home. I thank you all for looking out for us displaced folks who you may have no idea of what we are going through personally. Again, thank you all.

Nice hotel; maybe too expense for what it is. Breakfast is not so good but the rooms are. Sometimes you can have some noise problems with the fridge and you can't sleep. It has a huge parking, if you stay for several days it is free.

I am so sorry to hear that our hot breakfast buffet did not suit your needs during your stay. Our complimentary buffet includes a variety of healthy items such as fresh cut fruit, Greek yogurt, veggie crumble and steel cut oats to ensure that everyone in the family has options while staying with us. Our buffet also consists of a Belgian waffle station, scrambled eggs, and everyone's favorite day of the week, Bacon day Thursday's.
