I’ve been with IHG for over 25 years and have stayed with them at multiple facilities, I have never stayed at an Indigo before this week! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed! I left my wife at the curb while I check in, as I was doing this, the bell man rushed out, got her and our luggage and brought her in! What service!! We got great restaurant ideas, we loved the roof top bar and had a great breakfast in the morning. The place was immaculate and the rooms were very comfortable and nicely laid out! Oh, the hotel location is perfect too, we walked everywhere, it’s was close to everything we wanted to do! I’m now a fan of Hotel Indigo! And this staff!! What an awesome group of people!! A job well done!!

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at the Hotel Indigo in July. Our six night stay could not have been more enjoyable! We were warmly greeted by Renee and were surprised with a gift from her in our room. Jason in the bar was also terrific; he was genuinely interested in making our stay as fun as possible. The hotel is on the smaller size, so the staff recognized us throughout our stay and gave us great advice on where to go in the city. The location of Hotel Indigo was perfect, also. We were literally a block away from the ballpark and within walking distance to the entire Gaslamp District. Our room was super clean, stylish and cozy, and the bedside tablet was filled with great information about the hotel and sights around San Diego. We enjoyed the restaurant and rooftop bar several times and highly recommend both. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Indigo again!!

Location = ideal. Near all the San Diego highlights. Room was meticulously clean. The TV was huge. The bathroom & room were so spacious. The bed - super comfortable with crisp, clean sheets. But, what really makes this place is the staff. They are friendly & knowledgeable. From the front desk clerks (superb) to the bar “waitress” for breakfast. All delightful and they made my stay memorable. I’ll be back.

The Indigo Hotel covers all bases. The location provides easy access to Petco Park, Gas Lamp District, Convention Center, and many fine restaurants. The rooms are large, comfortable, modern, clean, and well maintained. The roof top bar is a relaxing experience, particularly after dark. The staff exhibits the absolute best in professionalism and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it. I have stayed in many hotels in San Diego, overall the Indigo is one the best!

Room tip: Higher floored rooms facing west provides a nice view of downtown.

My wife and I spent two evenings at the Hotel Indigo during a recent (mostly) business (for me) trip. Honestly, I selected this hotel because it was one of the only options under $300/night. I had never heard of the brand before and was not familiar with this particular location. I was worried that it might not be up to par with the three Hilton-branded properties I had stayed at in the San Diego area on previous trips. I found out, quickly, how wrong I was to be concerned.

We were greeted by the enthusiastic staff upon arrival (and, subsequently, each time we walked through the doors). During check-in (about 3:45 pm on a Monday), I was politely informed that my room was not quite ready and invited to have a seat in the lobby for just a few minutes. I wasn't upset by that, because the lobby was quite comfortable, with a modern design and a decent-sized bar. But, I never got to have that drink because the manager intervened and upgraded us to a suite, overlooking Petco Park (my initial room request was also to be overlooking the park).

Our suite was spacious and beautifully designed. The bed and pillows were, quite literally, the most comfortable I had ever slept on. The ballpark view was legitimate, not just some trumped-up sales gimmick. I mean, you couldn't keep a scorebook from the room, but you definitely could see the game.

Best of all, we really enjoyed the 9th floor rooftop bar, which had the same view, but came with the added bonus of all the ballpark sounds. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.

I will definitely be back to a Hotel Indigo, whether in San Diego or elsewhere!
