Enjoyable winter stay on Lake Superior

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seagull Bay! The view is amazing and our queen kitchenette room was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean, well maintained. Check-in was non-contact due to COVID but went smoothly and the owners were quick to answer text messages and checked in often. We would definitely stay at the Seagull again!

Great Value

We stayed at the cottage on a girls trip . It had all the amenities we needed and was very comfortable and quaint. Close to downtown and a great value for the price.You can’t beat the view from the deck .

Cozy, Friendly, Peaceful Stay

We LOVED staying at Seagull Bay. The owners were so kind and made us feel at home. All of our interactions with them felt genuine and caring. The staff texted us and was responsive to texts when we had questions. The weather was cold but the heat in the room worked really well and the bedding was warm enough. With COVID, check in/out was contactless and the staff were great at wearing masks and getting us what we needed. The fridge and microwave were perfect sizes for us to bring our own food too. We absolutely loved the paper towel roll holder too. The views were stunning and we loved having access to the Brownstone Trail. It was nice being able to have lakeside deck access and a huge window to watch the ferry and Lake Superior. The rooms are in solid shape considering that they are continuing to work on updates as they are able to. The room was big enough for what we needed, but definitely listen to the room occupancy when booking as there isn't much additional room for extra people (we had 1 bed for two people and a table and two chairs which was just enough). Best view in town and the coziest, most familial place to stay. We will definitely be back to Seagull Bay!

Wonderfully relaxing

I had a kitchenette . The view of the lake was beautiful . There were nice chairs and tables on the deck for being outside if you wish . The room is simple . Very clean and neat . It was handy to have the kitchenette as many of the restaurants in the area were closed . Housekeeping and staff were very friendly and available if needed .
I was there 6 nights . Came for the fall colors and apple orchards and was not disappointed . All of it with the lovely motel room made for a memorable visit .

Room tip: Choose a room or kitchenette on the upper level if you can for the best view . I highly recommend the kitchenettes !!

Bayfield Splendor

We just had to make One More visit to Bayfield/Seagull Bay Motel and our first visit in the Fall in several years. Being at Seagull Bay Motel is the Cherry atop any Sundae ..as the Staff is competent, Friendly, and go out of the way to make any visit a life-long memory. The rooms are clean, sanitized (due especially to the Covid-19 Virus...But even before)..the views are beautiful...especially the Sugar Maples...The view of Lake Superior is breath-taking...very uplifting in these challenging times.
Bayfield/Seagull Bay is where we come to "Re-Charge our Souls and Minds with all the wonderful scenery, the Friendly People, the Great Service everywhere.
People looking for a Great "Get-Away" for any reason....should consider the
combination of the Bayfield area, the "Fruit Loop" of farms offering seasonal fruits..i.e.Blueberries, raspberries, cherries, apples, Madeline Island, Great Eating
establishments, wonderful hiking/exploring areas and so much more; and when
tired out, there is no better place than the Seagull Bay Motel to just 'Kick-back" and Relax.

Room tip: all rooms have views of Lake Superior with a deck/patio
