We stayed at the Oceanfront Lodge. Beautiful breathtaking views. Comfy beds. Incredibly helpful staff. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond. Central location close to everything. Would recommend highly and can’t wait to stay here again.

Took a five-day trip just before the town of Bar Harbor opened for the season and Bar Harbor Inn was the perfect base for our trip to Acadia National Park:

* The property is right in downtown Bar Harbor so the shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

* Breakfast at the Reading Room every morning offers breathtaking views of the water. By our second day, Jeneisha our wonderful and attentive server, have memorized our orders. They have a complimentary continental breakfast in another part of the property for those who are on the go. We found the Reading Room dinner menu to be somewhat limited, but we did enjoy our short ribs.

* The room and bathroom was spotless, so kudos to the housekeeping team. We had a little bit of a problem with the slow drain in the tub, which they promptly addressed within an hour. We did find the carpet to be dingy-looking. I can't count the number of times I tripped on a bump in the carpet because it's right in the high-traffic area between the foot of the bed and the bureau.

* Spa service was top-notch. My husband and I scheduled back to back spa sessions in lieu of going out on a particularly gloomy day and we couldn't be happier with our decision.

Will definitely recommend Bar Harbor Inn to friends and family!

Room tip: Oceanfront Lodge rooms are not only closer to the water, you also have easier access to your car.

Beautiful spot... very friendly employees... convenient to all of the Bar Harbor shops. only downside was there was a pipe leak which ended up affecting the whole hotel... no water for
hours. Check in time was suppose to be 3... couldn’t check in until after 3. I understand the pipe issues were not the hotels fault, but the way they handled the situation was extremely awful. We had no working restrooms in that whole place, so during a pandemic, public restrooms and to be used. We were then told that water would be on between 4pm-6pm then were told 5pm-7pm then after 8pm they couldn’t even give us a time... finally around 9pm the water came back on, but very low
pressure and extremely dirty. left the water running for a while and eventually got pressure back and clean water but by then it was around 11pm... We also had to refill our toilet with the ice bucket since
that was also completely dry and the front desk told us to do it ourselves... I know that things happen, but the hotel could’ve handled this 10x better. I would love to go back to the hotel, but now sure i can after this weekend and the issues.

We’ve been coming to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park since the mid 1970,s. This was our 10th annual stay/trip to the Bar Harbor Inn. It would have been number 11 except for COVID. It’s alway great and every year it get even better. We were concerned that some of the regular staff left and was replaced with new people. Our concerns quickly evaporated. The new folks were friendly and seemed eager to make the transition for them, and us flawless. Every member went out of their way to make us welcome.
The rooms, 120 and 121 were excellent as were the views of the ocean! This is the reason we return to the Bar Harbor Inn every year.

We came here as a celebration for my husband 50th Birthday! His request was to be by the ocean; Bar Harbor Inn delivered!!! We stayed in the suite with the walk out to the oceans( pictured). It was close to town so we could walk everywhere. The customer service was stellar, everyone one was respectful and we thought they were truly happy to see us. The only draw back was a plumbing issue. And I agree with another review this a perfect step for a covid environment.
