This is a much older hotel but it is functional. It is not right on the beach (beachfront) as advertised, but behind an apartment building, although there is a view of the ocean from some rooms. Fixtures in the room are old and rusted and need an upgrade soon. The tea/coffee, milk & sugar sachets were kept in a bowl at reception and not in the room. No choice for tea drinkers - only green tea was available. Very limited choice in the room service menu and they do not serve guests after 9pm, which is quite early and most other restaurants around close at 10pm. The beds were alright but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Not appropriate for a good nights sleep after a tiring day.
Our main bone of contention was with the man handling the travel service desk at the lobby. He was very rude & did not seem to want to or be capable of helping hotel guests. When we inquired about renting cars from the hotel accredited car hire (we were 2 families travelling together and were looking to rent mustang convertibles) he became agitated, called us "crazy" and insisted we go for cheaper cars!!! He refused to offer any suggestions for local shows, tours or restaurants claiming everything in Guam was "too expensive". We did rent Mustangs later that day, by ourselves, from Hertz and we asked around for local restaurants and hang outs that we could try, and got quite a few good suggestions. However, your hotel guest services person is definitely NOT GOOD for your hotel business. It would help to have someone more pleasing, helpful and competent at your hotel, who offers guests all the possible options for tours, shows/clubs and local restaurants and then leaves it to the guest to decided whether it is suitable for them or not!
For two families who have travelled a lot, this was a very average hotel and not value for money
