My husband had a blast, my 4 year old? Not so much. There isnt much for children to do here but as an adult there is lots of intersting things to look at! Wish there was some mixture for kids to do.

We are not huge fans of museums, but this place was amazing! There’s so much to see here that it might not be a bad idea to spread it over 2 days since your entry ticket is good for 2 days. We were not able to schedule an additional day but we were very impressed with everything we saw. Don’t miss the collection of firearms section. It was awesome!

The Buffalo Bill Center of the West was AMAZING! There are FIVE Museums under one roof. My husband was in awe that they have such a world class museum in a relatively small town!
We spent about 5 hours there but we could have easily spent 3 days. Admission tickets are $21 for an adult & $20 for a senior & are good for two consecutive days.
I loved the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Plains Indian Museum & the Natural History Museum.
We have been to several gun museums but my husband said he had never seen more guns & more unique guns than at the Buffalo Bill Center.
He is a big Gunsmoke fan & they had James Arness’ Colt Single Action Revolver.

There are things I never knew about him. Seeing his outfits he wore during his shoes was cool. Annie Oakley was represented also. The wild life exhibits were very realistic.
