Both tours were great. Both the guides were knowledgeable and it was informative. But the end of both tours were a BIG disappointment. Obviously management does not have a clue as to how to get people to pay a gratuity. We got to the end of both tours and we were held hostage for about 10 minutes while the guides attempted to sell souvenir books. They told use that this is how they get paid, by selling the books. Mind you it was not mandatory to buy and tip would be appreciated if you did not buy. By doing this most people will not buy nor will they tip. Management you would be better showing the books and not have your people try to hawk them to get tips.
Would I recommend these tours, only if they did not hold you hostage in order to get a gratuity.
