Hard to give a five because perfect is pretty tough to achieve but I see no reason to ding the score. We have eaten here several times and taken a lot of pastry home. Everything we have had has been very good to great. The atmosphere is just right, pleasant and casual but not too casual and the service and food match that description. While the pastries are considerably more expensive than other bakeries in the area, they are better. Similar to what we found in French St. Martin (though much sweeter), they are our favorite treats here, other than maybe Simma's morning buns. We often have lunch here. My husband can't get past the burger, he orders it every time and says it is truly the best he has ever had. I have had a variety of entrees from crepes to salads. The standouts were a crispy duck confit salad, so delicious with little skin cracklings and generous pieces of duck and a wonderful vinaigrette and a manchego, pear and prosciutto salad with a very flavorful garlic parsley vinaigrette which I liked so much I have learned to replicate (there's is better). This is just our speed, great food, good service, lack of pretension.
