We arrived and left within 20 minutes. There were 3 pillows with blood drop stains, 1 of them also had a long hair still on it. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned. The bath tub still had hair in it, and the sink had little hairs from what appeared to be the aftermath of a man shaving his beard. The pool was not open, and was never disclosed prior to arrival. We were told that the CC would be charged after our stay, but we never actually stayed, so there should be no reason that my bank says there's a pending charge from Quality Inn. *Note that it has not officially been charged, but it is suspicious* The front desk didn't even question why we were wanting to cancel our stay. She simply looked down at her screen and said ok its canceled. I have learned to look at reviews prior to booking hotels; even with a well known name.

I have stayed in Quality Inns before and been satisfied. This is absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed in. Not just Quality Inn but of any hotel chain. It is incredibly dirty. The elevator doesn't work. The pool is closed. The lobby is closed so if you want to escape your room you can't even go there because it is only open to serve breakfast from 6-9 (I can only imagine what that "breakfast" is going to be). Embarrassing.

This property is very tired, worn out. The entrance is in the middle of an asphalt parking lot. Nothing green in sight. To get to my room I had to walk down a long hall, through a deserted party room with stacked up chairs, empty counters. The breakfast “room” is in the middle of the lobby, tiny tables and chairs and unappetizing pre-wrapped food. The TV is about 2x3 feet. The bed had one thin blanket; I had to take a second blanket from the other bed. Best Western should take a good look at this franchise.

Traveled to Door County and wanted a Choice Hotel to stay at. This was about the only one we could find. We had stayed here a couple of years ago and wanted to try it again. We were so very disappointed! Upon walking in, I noticed the rug in the entry way was very dirty. The receptionist was going to put us on the second floor and I told her that when we booked through Choice Hotels, the man told us we would be on the first floor. She was upset and said that they don't know the lay-out cause they aren't there. I said ok, but she insisted on changing our room to the first floor anyways. Walking down the hallway to our room, the carpeting was stained throughout, and dirty. In our room, it was not the cleanest either. I noticed alot of dust in corners, on outlets and the sprinker system. The curtain was torn pretty big and the quilt was torn too. Continental breakfast was very limited too. The pool was down, same as the last time we stayed, and not because of Covid, as it looked like it was being torn apart. We will not be staying here again. Price was way too high for what we got.

We took our two parakeets with us for a short vacation in Sturgeon Bay. We were glad that this hotel was "pet-friendly." Besides that, the manager and the staff people were great. The manager was a smart lady who wanted to make sure we were having a nice time. She was very professional also. She even took an interest in our birds, as did the housekeeper lady someone referred to as "Mom," who was very warm and friendly. She loved our birdies on first sight.
The guests we met were friendly, too, in the morning at breakfast. There is a pool on site, but we didn't go swimming. The amenities were about average in terms of the looks, decor and physical attributes. The hotel met our needs, which the great service we received had a lot to do with. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel on the basis of the outstanding manager and the staff.
