I am going to start off with saying, this is the worst experience I have ever had with IHG hotels today, 7/24/24.
First of all, I made my reservations yesterday, through my employer platform. Saw on their website that they are pet friendly, and under "Pet Policy- they allow Dog and Cats." I called and spoke with a front desk agent, confirmed the reservation, and asked her if they allow cats, once again to confirm what the website says, she said "yes we are a pet friendly hotel." I was like perfect; I am going to bring my cat with me for the nine nights at your hotel. Then I asked for an early check in today, as I had my cat with me, wanted to check-in, drop him off and then head to work for the day. Everything till that was great.
Something told me to call and confirm, again the day off, I was about 30 minutes away, then a lady (should not be in the hospitality industry, or a face of IHG hotels) picks up the phone, and I explained exactly to her, what exactly my conversation was with the other front desk agent from the night before, about an early check in. She was like "Ma'am when you come here, we will go through and see what we have." I like cool.
Then I get there, and of course, the room was not ready, did not even try to find me anything that I can use at the moment- because there is no compassion to guests, or doesn't even know what it takes to be a real hospitable person in the hospitality industry. Then I was like fine, I will wait for another 30 minutes no big deal.
This is not even the worst part; the wart part is that 30 minutes into waiting that same morning front desk agent that was there today, walks up to me with another non compassionate, lack experience of what "a guest experience " is walks up to me and says "I am sorry we do not allow cats, only dogs. we just checked with our GM." I asked what about just for tonight till I find another hotel, "oh no sorry we cannot."
Your GM, that did not even care to come out and talk to me after the fact that one of his night front desk agents, told me that you allowed cats and that a room will be ready for me at 11: 00a.m?
Your GM, that absolutely his staff doesn't know what " Guest experience" is?
Your GM, that his/her hotel floors are filthy filled with crumbs all over it?
Oh, you're telling me your GM, that his/ her staff don't even know what kind of services they have to offer?
Your GM that if he or she is working for me, would have been fired by now?
Oh, Gotcha!! Although I am a IHG silver member, I will not return to any of their hotels.
What a horrible experience.

Unfortunately, this was one of the dirtiest chain hotel properties I have ever stayed at. There were fresh stains on the duvet of one of the beds and hairs all over the walls of the shower. The front desk and bartender were nice people, but it was a filthy property.

Upon arriving from work, there was a strong smell of gas. The front desk did not notice and did not want us to call 911. We did anyway, the staff left a pilot light on. Do not stay here. The previous night the fire alarm went off at 5am. The lack of care is dangerous.

We have stayed here several times while visiting family. It’s always been great for our needs, but our most recent stay was not satisfactory. Our bathroom was in disrepair. There were cracked tiles in the shower, and broken cabinet handles, hand soap dispensers, and towel hooks. Our room did not get cleaned two days in a row even after we asked for housekeeping. No housekeeping is not a problem if we are given a heads up that they are short on staff, etc., but that was not the case. Our towels had hair stuck to them and stains. Other people were leaving bags of trash and towels in the hall because their rooms weren’t getting cleaned either. Our 1 year old daughter was with us, and her feet were filthy from crawling on the carpet. Disgusting! We won’t be staying here again, which is a disappointment considering it’s been our go-to in the past.

The fact that TripAdvisor has this as a 4.4 makes me lose trust in TripAdvisor. I don’t know where to start. Completely understaffed. Doors painted over so many times they barely shut. Drug deals going down in the parking lot. Used band-aids stuck to the side of the hot tub. Disgusting! IHG should be ashamed.

No luggage carts available at check in. Main elevator was down so nobody felt like returning them staff left them sit in the hall all weekend. No one worked on main elevator all weekend. Rail in back elevator broken. Multiple ice machines broken had to try every floor before finding a working one on floor four! They charge 10-16$ for breakfast depending if you prepay. Most hotels this would be a free continental breakfast. The food sucked the juice room temperature the good news they suck at checking for tickets so many people are for free they were lucky. My girlfriend was looking for our van keys that were lost in the deck after closing time and security yelled at her instead of attempting to even help a guest. This was my worst hotel experience in memory and I travel a lot
