My in-laws met working at the Riv, grew up right in Lake Geneva, heard Duke Ellington play in the Ballroom and brought their kids here every year for vacation and to connect with family. Still come back every year.
Next generation (we) have brought our kids here and they are grown and we are still coming back to visit the Riv, which means the beach which has taken on changes like the iron fence and the pavillion and the shops in the Riviera and the boat rides. The mail boat is especially wonderful if you have time. The beach is clean and inviting and this time of year it's wonderful to sit on a bench in Library park and just watch, or read a book or sip a slushie and bring back old or make new memories...it never gets old. And the "new fountain" isn't so new anymore, but is still lovely.
