Our group of four had dinner at "The Pub" Sunday night based on a recommendation from a friend, who happens to be a full time resident on Madeline Island. We were looking for the best "white fish" dinner on the Island. Two of our group did have the white fish dinner, one had the trout, and one had a rib eye. The rib eye steak was delicious, and came with fried potatoes and a house salad which had a wonderful blueberry vinegarette dressing. The white fish was finished with a champagne and butter sauce. Both said it was very good, but not great. The trout dinner was also described as very good. Our waitress was excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. The Pub has a very beautiful interior, and a great view of the Madeline Island harbor. All in all, a very good experience.
