We came up for a long weekend in December and The Edgewater is amazing! Full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, huge bathroom, everything we wanted. The front desk was friendly, informative and helped us plan our weekend. The bed was great with 7 pillows and a fireplace at the foot of the bed. Probably the cleanest room ever. Will stay here every trip to Door County moving forward!More

This is a nice coastal town hotel that sits scenically adjacent to the lake but across Highway 42. It's also right next to The Old Post Office Restaurant where we had booked a traditional fish boil dinner. The stay here does not include any breakfast as the only restaurant on the property is the separately operated Old Post Office Restaurant which does also serve breakfast. The setup is also a bit more akin to a motel as there is no real central lobby, but just a small check-in room they call a lobby, and which we had a little trouble actually finding, ha. Vivi was the friendly receptionist and she readily accommodated an early 1:30pm check-in for us (I called ahead) versus the normal 3:30pm check-in time. The room was spacious and comfortable and a lakeside door opened to a common walkway with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan/Green Bay.

A perfect location for your next Door County visit. Room was spotless and spacious with a king bed, fireplace, whirlpool, full kitchen including pots pans, dishes and all utensils...... all the comforts of home. The staff was so friendly from check in to check out and helpful even recommending on my first visit to this resort I would want a second floor view. Magnificent sunsets from the balcony right outside your door. I see why this is a popular resort to stay. We will definitely be back.

Spent 2 nights at the resort in a suite on the second floor with a great view of Green Bay. Full kitchen with adequate supplies (dinnerware, cooking utensils, fridge, microwave, stove, and oven.
Suite included king size bed, fireplace, whirlpool, coffee maker, and hide-a-bed couch.
Plenty of towels and more available if you needed, just had to ask. Office staff very friendly and full of suggestions and tips on what to see, where to eat, and photo stops.
Location was great and easy to explore the peninsula.

We agree the location is one of the best as you are pretty much in the middle of Northern Door County so most things are within 10 to 20 minutes with lots of things to explore and enjoy. Room was great! Great size and loved the whirlpool and fireplace in our room. The kitchenette was a great feature for left overs! Only down side is there was zero soap in our room, only lotion and bath salts, which isn’t ideal during these times.

I apologize for the soap, all of our rooms are stocked with individual wrapped soaps, both body and facial, shampoo and conditioner for the bathrooms, which are then replaced for each new guest. Please let the front desk know if you are ever short or missing anything and we will gladly help you out.

We stayed 5 nights over winter break in a first floor suite, with kitchen, fireplace and whirlpool. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, a great layout and a full kitchen. We didn’t eat at restaurants and were able to prepare full meals in the suite. The view of eagle harbor from the room is the best in all of door county. The customer service is 2nd to none. In fact, our car battery died in the state park and the manager came to our rescue within 10 minutes, going above and beyond what I would ever expect from any hotel staff. Will be back for sure to this wonderful establishment! Thank you for a wonderful get away!
