We've visited the place because of tripadvisor reviews and that was a right decision. Cosy restaurant offers absolutely all you might need. The menu is short, but rich on local specialities. Service is great. Everything is soooo tasty! Strongly recommend for a visit.

Had very high expectations because of the reviews. Their website has been down all week so we couldnt check the menu and gave it a go. We both like fine dining (do that at least 2x per month) and were interested in the local dishes.

We got a quick summary of the local dishes explained and looked at the menu. Not to many choices, which normally is a sign of dedication to food and change of menu to be in sync with change of the season/ingredients.

The starter was ok. The pasta was thin, filling was good, local fermented topping was interesting.
Main course however was a let down. My partner didnt even finish the veil as it tasted not good at all, side dishes were small. My dish (tartar of deer) was ok but not much preparation went into it so it tasted very natural/blend and just having bread as sidedish is a bit disappointing at this price. The dish was not that big either.

Given that experience, we left it at that and paid 85 eur for 2 starters, 2 small mains, 1 glas of wine and a bottle of water.

Price wise, taste wise, experience wise and size of portion wise, it did NOT live up to its expectation. There are better ways to spend that money on dinner and enjoy it more on tastier food at same or even higher quality.
The ingredients are surely fine, but cooking wise ive seen a lot better (and yes even lardin as we experienced in other restaurants this week)

Dont go here for dinner just because you think its super as they are marked nr 1 in town. Price/quality is simply not worth it and this is the 1st time in all my years visiting new towns/villages/restaurants where a top-10 ranking on tripadvisor is actually not worth it.

A lovely place, very kind host and all dishes were very well done in the best local tradition ( exception for the pork fillet which I found a bit hard and little tasty), I can recommend the ravioli and the stinco di maiale. Extremely well curate and decorated environment, perfect for a special evening.

We had dinner with friends and their two young kids. Service was superb and the food and the wine just excellent! We had a selection of starters followed by the pork in hay and with mushrooms as well as the deer and it was delicious.
