Tasted around 10 wines a couple of whites the rest reds, the Sangiovese was the best I've ever experienced and the reason we joined the wine club. The Riesling is unique as well being a very dry wine that is great fro summer sipping. Barrel aging is all done in neutral oak to allow the grapes to be showcased and not the tannin from the barrel. If you enjoy great wine this hidden gem is a must stop when in the area.

A cautionary post for all who (after reading this still choose to) visit to insist on a receipt when they scan your credit card.

We visited on June 24th, and had the Washington Wine Passport, which entitled us to 2 free tastings. We enjoyed our tastings and decided to buy a bottle of red blend which was ON SPECIAL for $12.

When we returned home, we found a $50 charge on our credit card. After disputing it with our credit card company and contacting Martedi, they still will not admit fault, claiming we bought a $32 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. As visitors from the East Coast, where we NEVER pay that much for wine, I can assure you this is something we would never do.

Bunch of crooks. I advise you to stay away.

We have been to this winery in the past and knew that when in Woodinville you need to stop! Super friendly owners. The Sangiovese is our favorite, but we also bought the Cabernet and an excellent dry Riesling. We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The winery was very busy, but the owners had time to visit, answer questions and share some stories. We were traveling back to Alaska and they even set us up with a box to help transport our wines. If you are looking for great wines, make this a must stop on your list while in the area.

You've got to stop here. Seriously! The owners are fantastic! They have great stories and some wonderful tasting wine. Their Riesling is not the usual vineyard fare and I'm so glad it isn't. It has character and develops all these wonderful complexities as you sip! You simply MUST support this winery!!

The owners of Martedi have great stories to tell and it is reflected in the production of some excellent wines, done in the Italian tradition. They take the time o entertain and you actually learn a lot about this family operation. Martedi is a small boutique winery that produces about 1000 cases. The owners, Joe and John do everything but pick the fruit. Outstanding experience and a wide selection of varietals with reasonable and affordable prices. Whether it's an everyday drinker or for that special occasion, Martedi is the place to enjoy good wines and experience people who have a passion for what they do.
