We stayed here during move-in weekend for Whitworth University. Location was a quick drive to campus and the hotel conveniently had a Walgreens next door in case you forget some necessity, which I did. Parking can be an issue when it’s crowded like during move-in weekend, but we found a spot every night regardless. The hotel check in was quick with very friendly and helpful staff. There is a coffee/tea/water bar in the lobby which my husband appreciated very much! We stayed in one of the Suites. It was very nice, roomy and comfortable. The suite has a kitchen area with micro, mini fridge, cupboard space and a table for 4. Large living space with a two sided fireplace (shared w/ bedroom) plenty of seating, flat screen TV and slider doors to a large private balcony. Double French doors led to the master with another flat screen, closet chair, desk area and a HUGE jacuzzi tub area separate, but connected to the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I always bring my own, but I did check and I could’ve slept well with theirs. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. The husband likes hot food. I’d prefer just a smoothie for breakfast, but there were good options for both of us. Lots of fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, pastries, muffins, juice etc and other things I’m sure I’m forgetting. One of my favorite things was coming back in the evening. There was always a platter of cookies in the lobby which had the most fabulous cookies that had a ‘“W” in the frosting! They were so good and I loved the show of appreciation to the Whitworth parents and families who were there. I hope they have them again! All in all, the room was lovely, location was great and we enjoyed our stay here. We have it booked again for move out week and will always look here first when we come to visit our son.
