This is an old movie theater but has great prices. Movies are generally the movies that have been out for awhile and this is their last showing place. Ample parking and it is air conditioned for a hot matinee.

You will be able to see top quality films at the Crest if you don't need to see them opening night (or opening month, for that matter). The Crest serves up good new films and the occasional older film for a remarkably affordable ticket price.

The theater is a bit worn, but it's worth it if you don't want to drop 15 bucks for Hollywood's latest epic.

We were in the mood for a movie on a cold January day, and decided to come north and check out the Crest. It's one of those classic neighborhood theaters where the locals come to see the latest movies. You pay the minimal fee at a counter just inside the door, and walk in to choose your theater, one of three if I remember correctly. We saw The Martian that day, and the theater had been recently renovated and was very nice. We'd definitely go back for another showing. Much less hectic (and definitely more friendly) than one of the huge chain theater complexes.

This theater has been around for a long time. It shows current films a few weeks after they've finished their first run in major theaters and indie films. The ticket prices are very inexpensive ($4 at the time of this review for standard films; there's an up-charge for 3D) although you do pay a premium for concessions. The best value for concessions is the large size of popcorn and soda which includes unlimited refills. The theater is old, but is in the process of being renovated. It is in a nice neighborhood and the clientele and staff were friendly and courteous. We saw The Martian in theater one (of four) and the seats were brand new and comfortable. The screen was plenty large enough and the experience was great. There is fair amount of parking at the theater and plenty of parking in the nearby neighborhood. We had no trouble finding a place to park. This theater is a great value and we definitely plan to return.
