Owner description: The Cascadian Home Farm is nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking North Cascades mountain range. This 28-acre farm in western Washington's Upper Skagit Valley is the birthplace of the Cascadian Farm portfolio of delicious organic foods. At the Cascadian Home Farm, we grow our crops and protect the local ecosystem using sustainable organic methods. Today our fields are producing mostly fresh blueberries, but we also farm organic strawberries, raspberries, hardy kiwis, peppers, corn and pumpkins. During the summer, our Roadside Stand is open daily - so you can plan a road trip and stop in for a pint of our fresh, seasonal berries or homemade organic ice cream. Trust us, the scenery is beautiful, and the food can't be beat! We've also got luscious shortcakes, preserves and delicious organic snacks. You'll be glad you made the trip.

We drove by and happened upon this ice cream shop on our way to North Cascades National Park. There was a long line but it was worth the wait. Home made ice cream using their farm-fresh ingredients. I absolutely loved my blueberry ice cream. My daughter had a delicious chocolate milk shake. There are picnic tables & restroom facilities available too. Definitely make the stop!

We were on our way back west on route 20 after picking up a senior lifetime national park pass at the cascade ranger station (get these for ten dollars by the way before the price Goes up 28 August; good all over the U.S.) and enjoying views of the Skagit River when we came upon this farm producing blueberries and other items. Inside a fun log cabin (but it needs air conditioning, save our two female servers!) there were three ears of corn for $1, homemade ice cream, coffee, and even local books on hiking and parks. The ice cream cones were flying out of the package behind the counter and we tried the blueberry and raspberry, both delightful. There are picnic tables outside where you can cool your heels and get ready for the next hour of driving.
Very restful.
Bon appetit!

This place is such a gem in a bit of a food desert! I was in the Cascades for 4 days and stopped every day for ice cream, blueberries, and fresh produce. All of it was excellent quality. They are often busy but staff was friendly and efficient. Make sure and stop if you're passing through!

This is a fun place to stop if you are interested in organic vegetables, blueberries and organic ice-cream. They have tables under shade trees and clean restrooms. We had the blueberry ice-cream, coming and going to and from our final destination. Bottomline this is a great place to take a breath from a long drive.

I cross over the North Cascade Hiway frequently to visit on the west side. I always stop here. Plenty of parking, nice restroom, picnic tables, and beautiful flowers. You can go out and pick your own berries, they are also for sale inside. They have coffee, fresh veggies. My favorite which is what I always stop for is their own homemade ice cream. Great friendly service. Some weekends are a little busy.
