Took a group of 11, all ages, and was told the latest we could be seated was 5 because they had a group of 12 coming at 6. The place was not overcrowded at 5 OR at 6. I think the problem was that they didn't have enough servers to handle two big groups. First impression was a little bit dated decor, but I'm ok with some of that. Second impression came from the front of the menu that stated they were sorry that they HAD to pay their servers more because of the law with a minimum wage workers and they would be passing the cost along to consumers and how sorry they were. Really put me off. Not a great selling point. Keep it to yourself if you don't like paying a living wage.
My sirloin was just average in tenderness, but overly seasoned. The baked potato that came with it was quite small. My husband had red snapper and thought it was good. Service was slow. There have to be better places in Ocean Shores.
