Stayed here because we happened to be in Adelaide at the same time as the Clipsal 500 motor race and this is the only accommodation we could get. The room was very basic and we had to have the window open to get any air and its location right at the start of the motorway meant that it was extremely noisy. Trucks turned the corner from Portrush Road and then revved to get their speed up to start climbing up into the hills. This continued for most of the night making it most unpleasant. Would definitely NOT stay here again even though it was very cheap.

Room Tip: I doubt if there are any given its proximity to the motorway.

Staff were friendly room was clean had coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave and fridge . Price was cheap 76.50 for a twin room . It is located very close to a main Rd the first night traffic noise wasn't a problem but the second night we could hear the trucks . Fine place if looking for a base to explore from .

The motel is right on the motorway going into Adelaide and for what we needed, it was very convenient, i.e. we had things to do in Adelaide (Unley) and also in the Adelaide Hills. It is however very dated so don't expect anything flashy. Our room was quite large and was right on the motorway side of the motel...I am a very light sleeper and used earplugs and didnt hear any traffic during the night which is very unusual for me. We had to take our luggage up two flight of stairs which wasn't a huge problem.
The sheets smelt a bit funny, but other than that it was quite clean.

Stayed in a family room for the night on the way through to Port Lincoln. A very old and run down motel to say the least.
There was a constant 'dripping' noise in the roof for most of the night and the bathroom light started flickering in the middle of the night (left on for the kids) and wouldn't turn on in the morning. One of the beds had a major dip in the middle of it??!!
If you're looking for somewhere extremely basic to lay your head for the night, this place would pass - just. Although I'm sure there's some nicer places around for the budget conscious.

Hubby and I stopped here for the night when traveling East to West coast. Bathroom was a little less clean than I would've expected however it was a comfortable enough room and we slept well. It was in a good location for a quick afternoon/evening visit to Hahndorf. Check in was quick and hassle free.
