I found this on Yelp with great reviews about how this place is just Salvadoran food and nothing else. I am very happy to come and found such good memories returning from a time I spent in the jungles and mountains there as a young Sailor. We had Pupusas first, a few made with rice dough and some with corn. I cannot tell you which I enjoyed more as they both are so delicious. We stuck with chicken and cheese for both to make a direct comparison. She says she cannot tell the difference and loves them both. Next, we had a Pastels de Carne, I think I am in love all over again. The beef and veggie mix in side the hard corn bread outer layer is great.
They serve a tomato sause with the meal that is great to dip the Pupusas and Pastels de Carne in. Also, the bowl of cabbage was great.
Last we shared a pastelitos de Pina (pineapple pie) that was so yummy! !!
I highly recommend you come here and try thier fresh made food. Just watching them make the dough from scratch tells me they are great.
