Based on a suggestion from a friend, we decided to try this restaurant as we do like Asian food. The restaurant is located in a strip mall that does not, upon first sight, like a busy and thriving mall. We were the only ones in the dining room but shortly thereafter a few more people entered. While waiting for our entrees, the restaurant seemed to do a great carry-out service. The tables were covered in white cloth tablecloths complemented with red napkins. Japanese lanterns were hung from the ceiling in the dining area. The lady who greeted us was also the cashier and bartender. They have a full-service bar albeit a small one. We ordered the Sha Cha and Moo Goo Gai Pan. Our waitress told me the Sha Cha was made with a Japanese vodka sauce and included white meat chicken, broccoli, snow peas, and baby corn in a somewhat spicy sauce. It was okay but did have a different taste I could not put my finger on. My husband ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, a dish with sliced c chicken sautéed with fresh mushrooms, broccoli and snow peas in a light white sauce. This is his “go to” meal whenever we eat Chinese. He said it tasted as if the chicken was cooked in the same pan they used to cook fish and that he has had better. Our bill came to a tad bit over $20 without tip. The restaurant is not conveniently located to where we live so we will probably to try it again.
Trughtfully, it should be 3.5 stars. Ample specials for lunch with more than enough food, making it reasonably priced and a better bargain than for dinner.
Sorry to say our delivery order was the worst, I suspect that since we ordered around 4:30, we were given left over lunch items, the fried rice was so dry, the lemon chicken no where near crispy, it was so over cooked and soggy, the pork ribs, dry and tough. Can't say anything good, so I'm done. Your on your own !
Very nice restaurant. I rarely eat Chinese Food but this is one place that I trust. I highly recommend them.
