Usually when we travel we stay at an awesome resorts. This is a timeshare complex for the most part
condo or apartment complexes that have been turned into a timeshare, there were not a lot of amenities. They were clean although a large bag of dirty linens sat outside out door in the hallway for our entire stay. The walls were so thin you could hear the neighbors put ice in their glasses and your could smell what they were cooking.
The bed in the master was a queen not a king although it was comfortable enough.. Our kitchen was not full size just a small frig sink and dishwasher, you really could not prepare a meal. We had a one bedroom lower level.
As far as the location its perfect you are really close to the historic district less than 5 minutes. Everything you need as far as shopping and plenty of restaurants are only minutes away.
As long as you are able to avoid the Timeshare sales presentations and you unplug the phone (cause they will call relentlessly) this place is not that bad. We will not go back if we are in the Williamsburg area although it was fine for this last visit. There is no food on site and the pool was closed had not opened for the summer season yet. We were somewhat disappointed.

We highly recommend this place. It is conveniently located in the historic triangle of Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. Guest service is very nice and go out of their way to accommodate you. The resort has awesome activities for everyone in the family. The pools were actually warm and the facilities are in great shape. We will definitely be back :-)! We actually hate to leave.

The scenic drive through the gate is beautifully landscaped with lush grass, trees, ponds and scattered with colorful flowers, a variety of birds as well as their babies following close by. The grounds displays a home built in 1750 including antique art and modern bathroom. The check in process is lengthy but thorough. Any one can enjoy swimming whether you like a pool for adults only or a kiddie pool or an indoor pool. There is a poolside bar and grille. The kids loved the playground and playing in the sand there. There's an opportunity for crafts and Saturday night movie or breakfast in the cafe by the pond or to but items at the general store. And before i forget the suites are roomy complete with washer and dryer. They are a bit dated however but clean and the beds are comfy.

Looked for a place just outside Colonial Williamsburg and found this on line. There was nothing said that this required a sale pitch. Nothing about trying to sell you "points" for their other resorts. You see the historic manor house on the website. The resort is condos/townhouses. Ours was old, stairs and floors creaked, furniture rattled when we walked by and paint splatters all over. The only thing that keeps our rating poor instead of terrible is the rest of the facility. Three nice outdoor pools. One indoor and restaurant was nice but overpriced. We were promised a $75.00 gift card for the "90" minute sale pitch. After nearly three hours [ our fault for staying ] and three different sales people, each with a bait and switch offer, we finally got up and left. They refused to give the "promised" gift card.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback from your recent stay. As we are a vacation ownership resort, we are more than happy to provide all guests the opportunity to obtain information about our product; however, this presentation is not mandatory by any means. Aggressive persistence is definitely not the desired approach for our concierge team. We will address this with our Concierge Manager for review and coaching purposes.

As far as activities go this is an awesome place to stay lots of fun things to do for family's at no extra charge. The suite was big and clean but the decor was very old and it smelled like a cheap motel but other than that it's was great and we will be back I just hope that the rooms are updated.
