Charming setting convenient to downtown, with easy parking. Varied menu with interesting daily specials. This visit we had grilled mixed vegetable sandwiches- the artichoke dip spread in the bread was so delicious! Good service and good food- you won’t be disappointed

We went to the Depot Grill for lunch the other day. The outside was a little off putting, but once we got inside we were completely at our ease. The hostess was going to put us at a table, but we asked for a booth and one was immediately prepared for us.
Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. There was a variety of draft beer available and our food arrived quickly. Both the burgers and the fish and chips were nicely cooked and prevented. The four of us shared two desserts; the chocolate cake was especially delicious. We will definitely return the next time we are in Staunton.

We decided to go to the Depot Grill for dinner before heading to the Blackfriars Theater (first class entertainment that never disappoints!). the crab soup was excellent. Our burgers, cooked to order, were very generously sized and definitely prime quality. If you want to be a bit adventurous, try the bison burgers!
This is a large and popular place so if you can beat the dinner crowd by coming a little early, you'll enjoy a quieter atmosphere.

We enjoy sampling local fare, and the old Depot in Staunton was a curiosity. We were very happy that we chose to try it. The old bar is worthy of a look, even if you are not hungry -- but do try the soups and other fare.

Dined here on St. Patrick's Day weekend with my wife. I had a delicious steak and my wife loved her Bourbon glazed salmon! Portions were large and properly cooked. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. Restaurant was busy but service was very good and fairly quick. Would love to visit again when in Staunton.
