Stayed in the Hotel in September 2018, the hotel is gorgeous, rooms and general are of the hotel were spotlessly clean, modern decor, Friendly staff and most had great English even down to the maids in the hotel who did a super job on the rooms, fresh sheets, fresh towels,floors etc cleaned daily (even when the floors where already spotless) water park 5 min walk from the hotel you get a band from the hotel reception any time you wish to go and it's free entry, the lines are minimal for such a busy waterpark, they have birds of prey show, and staff walking around the park with different birds, snakes and lizards that you can hold and get pictures with. Kids loved it! The hotel is not located really near anything. But the hotel did hook us up with a professional car service (who were awesome!And very cheap) to bring us down to the near by villamoura where there is a range of restaurants and bars, it's only 10 minutes away by car and the beach Praia de Falésia in Albufeira fo water sports etc. As the local beach in Quaiteira didn't have anything like this but it was worth it. The staff were always happy to give recommendations of places to go and activities to do. Food! The Breakfast was buffet style and the cook food was cold and greasy. They did have a range of fresh fruit, pastries and Cereal which we had every day for breakfast, but unfortunately other than soya milk and cold meats they didn't have anything to cater for my 8 year old son that's lactose intolerant.

Indoor pool, the in door pool is gorgeous and has a jacuzzi off to the side, for the first part of our holiday it was great for a morning dip, but after a few days the hotel got rather busy and the cleanliness of the pool changed, it was constantly over run with unsupervised children that left a mess of food & soiled Nappies/diapers which caused the room to smell awful. The hotel did clean up the mess in the morning and at night but couldn't manage to keep on top if during the day. They had a nice little set up pool side for massages and a fish foot spa which was really nice and the girl was lovely but it wasnt what we expected by spa, enjoyed it all the same. There was no evening entertainment when we visited, but we did go mid September as it was coming to the end of the season. They did have a small games room with pool tables, air hockey and a couple of other arcade style games.

The hotel itself and the waterpark would bring me back for another visit as though the cons I really enjoyed my stay, but next time I would be more prepared to travel out for mealsMore
