Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: Your experience in 'Chiantiandart' can be a quick visit: a wine tasting, a visit to the cellars and a tour in the park, a look at the art exhibition of iguarnieri's works, contemporary frescoes and sculptures, as well as a small guided tour among the various stages of wine production with the finally tasting of our wine production (i.e. Chianti Classico 2011, Chianti Classico Riserva 2008, IGT 1 ST 2010 made of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Malvasia and Trebbiano, an IGT S.T. 2011 made of 100% Sangiovese, a Vin Santo of our limited production) accompanied by Tuscan salami, cheese and other specialties expressly prepared for you. Otherwise you can take the opportunity to have lunch or dinner with Rodolfo, getting closer to the traditional Tuscan and Florentine cuisine while enjoying the true meaning of the Sangiovese grape. In spring and early summer black truffles grow in the park of the Villa and are really an interesting surprise for the palate! You can find a limited production of hand frescoed bottles of Super Tuscany in the wineries. Upon request, you can spend a day with the masters Roberto and Rodolfo following a lesson of fresco (ART EXPERIENCE iguarnieri) realizing your own work!

I was invited to Villa Torre Alberghieri by the master himself, Rodolfo, who produces all of the wine served during the experience and also is a fantastic chef with the help of his wife and kids. It was an incredible evening tasting the variety of wines, meats and cheeses local to this area of Tuscany. We shared many great laughs with the guests and for everyone looking for an unforgettable wine tasting experience in Tuscany look no further because Rodolfo is truly a master of art, wine and gives a rich experience to all who come to Villa Torre Alberghieri. Hope to be back soon!

We had the chance to visit this amazing Villa and spend an afternoon with Rodolfo.. a perfect gentleman, a renowned artist and a talented cooker.
We arrived at the sunset on a chilly day and we took a visit of the Property, the wine cellar and the art studio; all the medieval Villa is fulfilled of paintings made by Rodolfo and his brother Roberto that harmoniously match the original frescos and the furnishing of the ancient palace.
We had a personalised wine tasting of their wines combined with a delicious aperitivo picks prepared by Rodolfo served with a smile, we felt like home immediately!
The panoramic view, the fantastic wines and the pleasure of an art chat with the owners made our visit something memorable...we definitely will be back!

My wife and I stumbled upon chiantiandart quite by accident. When we arrived we were graciously met by Stefania while Rodolfo finished up in the vineyard teaching his son the finer points of motorcycle riding. We talked and walked the grounds and I could not believe the house with soaring tower and the art and frescos covered every wall and ceiling. The paintings and art all made by Rodolfo. Up the stairs we went to see the 360 degree view from the castle lookout. We then sat down to a wonderful lunch of melon and prosciutto , breads , olives , cheeses and varying wines. Then the pasta arrived cooked by the artist himself topped off with shavings of freshly unearthed truffles and some more wine. Best part of our five week visit to Italy was spending the afternoon with Stafania, Rodolfo Grandfather and two children. Felt like we were long lost relatives from America. Would not hesitate to go back again. See and stay at this place in Tuscany you will not be disappointed. Ciao! Joe & Julie O'Donnell
