Its worth to see.
We passed through this village on Saturday on the way to Rome. There was a local market around but this museum like shop attracks the attention with their rich meat, cheese and wine varities.

This is a local shop that cures meats, and sells locally produced breads/cheeses etc. They have a wine tasting system where you load up a card (think debit card) and then use it at each of the wine dispensing machines located throughout the facility. The machines clearly display the cost (in Euros) per vend. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. A very interesting shop, and a great way to experience local products.

A butcher shop with a bit of wine and beer tasting next to its specialities of cold cuts! Wonderful small tasty bites and not a usual place ... Very chilled!

amazing..fresh...delicious...the cheese and meats are unbelievably fresh...wild bore with the hair still on the meat, the butcher chopping your cut of meat in front of you...the old days here and now.

Great snacks from own production
Great way to taste some Chianti wines, although you need to fetch it yourself using some prepaid card. Actually fun to do, but sometimes the dispenser machines are a bit difficult to operate.. Some people had problems.
They use some kind of self-service approach: you are supposed to order at the till, but this is not always communicated correctly.. saw some US customers leave as they felt they were ignored.
Can be a busy place because all tours that visit Greve are also going for this beautiful shop.

Thank Johann S
